Impact of Building Energy Mitigation Measures on Future Climate

چکیده
As cities are increasing technological efficacy on greenhouse gas (GH) emission reduction efforts, the surrounding urban ecosystems and natural resources may be affected by these measures. In this research, climate indicators such as heat index, extreme events, intensified islands (UHIs), sea breeze projected for middle end of 21st century to understand change signal variables with without building energy mitigation Cities amplify UHI impacts concentrating large populations critical infrastructure in relatively small areas. Here, we evaluate combined localized metrics throughout across scenarios (RCP8.5) tropical coastal city San Juan. The analysis statistically downscaled global circulation model outputs shows underestimation uncorrected summer daily maximum temperatures, leading lower intensity duration projections from present time which corrected using bias-corrected techniques. High-resolution dynamic downscaling simulations reveal a strong dependency changes events settings, however, intensities shift lower-level grasslands croplands measures (combination white roof, tilted photovoltaic efficient heating ventilation air conditioning systems). have potential reducing 1 °C 0.5 2050 2100 periods, respectively.

Comparison of impact of climate change on building energy-saving design for two different climates; Metropolitans of Moscow and Tehran
In the present study, in order to monitor and project climate change impacts on model of the bioclimatic design, a comparative study was conducted between the Middle East and Eurasia as two different climates. This paper used the basic data from 1990 to 2010, and the CMIP5 climate models have been used to project the climate data (radiation, temperature, wind speed, and relative humidity) from ...
متن کاملClimate and Energy in Urban Areas to Reduce Energy Consumption, Case Study of Saadat Abad Building
Before the modern era, cities were built on a scale that did not change the environmental balance significantly. With the expansion of population and the expansion of cities and the conversion of settlements into big cities and metropolises, new conditions have emerged which show that cities today make their own climates. The new climates created in these areas are completely different from the...
متن کاملOn the sensitivity of buildings to climate: the interaction of weather and building envelopes in determining future building energy consumption
Building simulation requires a large number of uncertain inputs and parameters. These include quantities that may be known with reasonable confidence, like the thermal properties of materials and building dimensions, but also inputs whose correct values cannot be known with absolute certainty, notably weather and occupancy. Building simulation is commonly used to estimate the impact of design d...
متن کاملFuture climate change impact on hydrological regime of river basin using SWAT model
Hydrological components in a river basin can get adversely affected by climate change in coming future. Manipur River basin lies in the extreme northeast region of India nestled in the lesser Himalayan ranges and it is under severe pressure from anthropogenic and natural factors. Basin is un-gauged as it lies in remote location and suffering from large data scarcity. This paper explores the imp...
متن کاملThe Study of Thermostat Impact on Energy Consumption in a Residential Building by Using TRNSYS
The present study investigates the effectiveness of thermostat control strategy in cooling energy consumption in residential buildings. To evaluate the energy consumption, two scenarios including a residential zone with and without the thermostat control system are assumed. The TRNSYS software provides an efficient numerical tool to model and evaluate a cooling system. Furthermore, since solar-...
